I graduated from New Mexico Highlands University and received a bachelor and master degree from this University. Both degrees are in Social Work. My master degree has an emphasis in Clinical Practice. I have been working in the field of substance abuse treatment/counseling since 2002. My experience includes: outpatient adult and adolescent treatment, intensive outpatient treatment for adults, and residential treatment for adults. I also have experience working with families that struggle with an addictive family member. My training has also included working with individuals that have experienced trauma, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, emotional problems, and behavioral problems. I am also an EMDR therapist
I am licensed by the State of New Mexico as a Alcohol and Drug Counselor (#00929971) I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (# I-08159) with an emphasis in Clinical Social Work.
Carol recieved her bachelor degree from Upper Iowa University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science. She continued her education with New Mexico Highlands University with obtaining a Master degree in Social Work with the emphasis in Clinical Practice. Carol obtained her MSW in 2010. She is licensed Social Worker (M-0759) and is licensed as a Substance Abuse Associate (0150671). Carol has experience working with developmentally delayed individuals, adults with co-occurring disorders, and adolescents.
I received my Associate’s Degree in Applied Science-Substance Abuse Counseling from San Juan College in 2005. I received by Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from New Mexico Highland University in 2007. I am currently enrolled and working on my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling through Grand Canyon University, on-line program. I will complete my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling in early 2014.
I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor # 015071 (LADAC). My professional background consists of working with alcohol and drug abuse offenders that are court mandated to complete a treatment program. I have worked with DWI offenders in a jail-based facility and the women’s methamphetamine program. I have experience working with in an Intensive Outpatient Program as the IOP Coordinator. I return to school to get my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling so I could work holistically with the individuals that I serve. I have been working in the Substance Abuse field since 2003.
